 . Last year the state legislature passed a new law that requires all new C
 C applicant to take an 8-hour class which covers the State Standards for C
 oncealed Carrying in Colorado. This is an 8-hour curriculum as designated 
 by the State of Colorado. This class will be covering basics of Firearm Sa
 fety\, Storage\, Colorado Laws\, and many more subjects as required under 
 the new law. There will be a mandatory written exam after the classroom po
 rtion and then there will be Live Fire Qualifications\, and you must meet 
 the minimum standard in both in order to receive your class completion cer
 tificate in order to apply for you permit through your County Sherriff. Pl
 ease make sure to bring your Firearm\, 100 rounds of ammunition\, eye and 
 ear protection. Dress appropriately for outdoor weather during the range t
 ime. Check the weather the morning of class.
