Practical Training for Everyone
Our firearms courses are designed for the average person. We are not tactical, but we are practical. While Tactical training is specialized instruction that prepares individuals for effective decision-making, skills execution, and safety in high-stress, real-world scenarios. We understand that most people think of Military or Law Enforcement type training.
Why an outdoor Range?
Outdoor offers benefits of building your skill while the weather elements will make a difference in how you perform. Why? Life doesn't always happen in a temperature-controlled environment with a static target.
Recognizing fellow shooters in your vicinity
When visiting an indoor shooting range, you might not be aware of the skill levels of those around you. In such a setting, there's a chance you could be near someone who inadvertently points their firearm at you while reloading, potentially leading to an accidental discharge. Our Instructor/Range Safety Officer is always in sight, and there are no physical barriers separating you from other shooters. This setup makes it easier to spot and address any unsafe behaviors, ensuring the safety of everyone present.
Movement and Real drills
In a real defensive situation, you will not be in a temperature-controlled environment, and you will not have the easy availability to do practical movements in your training. You will have an instructor watching and instructing, so we can take the training as slow or as quickly as needed.
Boost Confidence
Having an instructor with you and watching, gives you the availability to properly train. As you become more comfortable, we can then increase your rate of fire, work on your target acquisition and your target accuracy. Think about the enormous amount of duress you may be under during a real defensive incident. You will want to hone your skills under the direction of a certified instructor, not just a Range Safety Officer.
